Return and Refund Policy

Field Works and Utility wants customers to be confident in their order. If something is not right, contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.

Pre-Orders

If your order is a pre-order, you may cancel at any time before production begins for a 100% refund, no questions asked.

Before production begins, we will contact pre-order customers to confirm that they still wish to proceed.

Once production begins, pre-orders are considered committed and are no longer eligible for cancellation or refund, except where the product qualifies under our warranty policy.

30-Day Returns

For regular, non-pre-order purchases, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery for any reason.

To be eligible for a return:

  • the item must be returned within 30 days of delivery;

  • the item must be in clean, usable condition;

  • the item must include all original components, where applicable; and

  • proof of purchase must be provided.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect, fulfillment error, or other issue caused by Field Works and Utility.

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

Warranty

Field Works and Utility products are covered by a 1-year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

This warranty applies to issues caused by defective construction, faulty materials, or manufacturing errors under normal use.

If a product qualifies under warranty, Field Works and Utility may, at its discretion:

  • repair the product;

  • replace the product; or

  • issue a refund.

Normal Wear and Tear

Normal wear and tear is not eligible for refund or warranty replacement.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • fading;

  • staining;

  • abrasion;

  • cuts, punctures, or tears caused by use;

  • damage from improper washing or care;

  • damage from misuse, modification, or neglect;

  • damage caused by tools, equipment, vehicles, fire, chemicals, or workplace hazards; and

  • expected breakdown from heavy field use over time.

Field products are built for demanding work, but no soft goods are indestructible.

How to Start a Return or Warranty Claim

To start a return, refund request, or warranty claim, contact us at:

Please include:

  • your name;

  • order number;

  • reason for the return or claim;

  • photos of the product, if the issue relates to damage or defects; and

  • your preferred resolution.

We will review the request and provide return instructions where applicable.

Refund Timing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

Shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error by Field Works and Utility or a confirmed warranty issue.
