Built on the Big Hug platform, it balances storage, access, and movement for long days in variable terrain without locking the system into one season or condition. It has enough capacity for demanding fieldwork, but stays clean and wearable enough for everyday use.

Half Moon Pouch

Primary high-access storage positioned at the centerline of the body for fast, natural reach.

The front Half Moon gives the system its main working zone without overbuilding the chest.

Dual Brick Side Drops

Left & Right

Two Brick pouches mounted on the side drops provide dense, symmetrical storage without crowding the front of the vest.

The side-drop position keeps bulk distributed laterally while preserving freedom through the chest, shoulders, and waist.

Waist Management - Rear Center

Rear storage for overflow items, layers, first-aid, food, or equipment that does not need constant front access.

Moves bulk away from the chest while maintaining balance across the system.

Dedicated Radio Holster

Stable, purpose-built radio carry integrated into the system layout.

Keeps communication gear accessible without stealing prime storage space from the main pouches.

All-Season Use

The Big Timber is not a cold-weather-only system.

It has enough volume for gloves, layers, and rough-weather gear, but it remains practical across spring, summer, fall, and winter fieldwork. The layout is built around temperature adaptability. Cold will not ruin it. Heat will not ruin you.

3D Mesh Ventilation

Padded airflow channels across shoulders, front, and back reduce contact area and improve comfort during sustained movement.

The frame is structured, but not rigid or heavy.

MOLLE rails + drop-flap mounts support multiple attachment styles and configurations.

Supports up to eight full-width attachments simultaneously.
